Red Carpet Rundown: 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards

-Berry Delicious

The pouring rain at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards was an interesting obstacle for the glamorous stars to dodge while walking the red carpet. By the time the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards came around, Mother Nature thankfully gave the rain a break. Sunshine pierced through the parted clouds and most importantly the red carpet was dry.

Anna KendrickOne of the stand out colors this awards season was purple. Sandra Bullock, from The Blind Side, first mesmerized us with her deliciously purple Bottega Venetta gown at the Golden Globes. Anna Kendrick, from Twilight and Up in the Air, jumped onto the trend and looked dazzling in a purple strapless Alberta Ferretti gown. The shade of her gown helped her light skin tone pop out.

kate1Looking flawless, Kate Hudson, from the musical film adaptation, Nine, appeared to be more of a ten in her fresh off the runway spring 2010 Emilio Pucci gown. From the front, the fabric covers her body from the shoulders down to her feet. On her left hip is a taste of crystals to add some sparkle. However, the front of the gown only serves as an appetizer to what’s happening in the back. She certainly captured the attention of many eyes by the daring backless feature of her gown.

Lea MicheleThe stand out on the red carpet goes to the gorgeous Glee cast member Lea Michele. Not only is she armed with a powerful singing voice but she can surely glow in designer threads. Lea goes green in a Spring 2010 Malandrino gown with a hint of ruffles at the top and a low cut neckline that tastefully shows a decent amount of skin without going overboard.
From purple to white to green, the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet was filled with a variety of colors. Who do you think stood out? Write us a comment and share your thoughts.
